To complement the Race: Are We So Different? exhibit, you are invited to participate in a Community Dialogue based on the Native American Talking Circle. This format provides a productive, non-confrontational way to explore and foster diversity, as well as to learn a valuable communication technique. The Dialogues will offer a facilitated discussion where all participants are invited to reflect on their experiences in learning about and experiencing race as a factor in their lives and communities.

Community Dialogues are led by volunteers from the YWCA Boston.

Dialogues take place at 1:15 pm, 2:30 pm, and 3:45 pm and last about one hour. (Exception:  May 14 Dialogues will take place at 12:15 pm and 3:15 pm)  Meet in the Museum Lobby.

Free Museum admission with pre-registration.  Dialogues may be canceled or rescheduled based on low registration numbers.  Please plan time to see Race: Are We So Different? exhibit before the dialogue starts.  Registered individuals can enter the Museum starting at 12 noon--check in first at registration table in Museum Lobby.
